The group employs about 450 staff from machine operators to R&D engineers and software support. An R&D and assembly team in Germany designs and manufactures specialist machines for electrical test of PCB. The Gardien Group is owned by a Technology Investment Fond out of the UK

Atotech is an international speciality chemicals and equipment company. It provides chemistry and equipment for companies that manufacture printed circuit boards, IC-substrates and semiconductors; and also provides specialty chemicals and equipment for decorative and functional surface finishing in the automotive, construction, furniture and other industries.

Atotech Feucht is the Tech Center for Manufacturing, R&D as well as sales for the Wet Process solution provided by Atotech

  • Responsible for the Equipment Sales worldwide: Layout and design of the equipment Collaboration between Chemist Team, Customer, Equipment team), quotes, negotiations and hand over to the project management department.

Lurgi Bischoff (today GEA Bischoff) offer the full range of gas cleaning equipment and technology with a focus on process plants for Iron and Steel making industries. The services include design, sourcing, installation and commissioning.
Responsible for installation planning, purchasing and actual on site installation of process plants for Iron and Steel making (wet and dry precipitators, Co2 washers) worldwide.

Personal Information

Roland Valentini (Born 1965) joined Gardien in 2005, when it was still part of the Mania Group, as the Head of Outsourcing Europe. Moving to North America later as VP Europe/North. He later moved to North America as VP Europe/North America.

As the COO for Gardien Group (a role assumed in 2010, while working out of Singapore), he has successfully led the Group through transition and change with a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and an undergraduate in Economics, has worked in various capacities globally and has been associated with the PCB industry since 1998, starting with Atotech Equipment Division in Feucht, Germany.

Served as Board Member of the German school in Toronto, Canada.
